Michael Jordan attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1981 to 1984. During his freshman year, he made an immediate impact, hitting the game-winning shot in the 1982 NCAA Championship game. Jordan continued to excel throughout his college career, earning multiple accolades for his outstanding play. He was named ACC Freshman of the year and was a two time consensous All-American. In his Junior year Jordan decided to declare for the draft, but had ultimately backed out returning to the Tar Heels for his senior season. In his final year, Jordan led the North Carolina Tar Heels to the NCAA Final Four and was named Naismith College Player of the Year. Jordan's impressive & successful college career further helps solidify him as one of the greatest basketball players ever.
