Michael Jordan, born on February 17th, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York had a modest upbringing. He had moved soon after, growing up mostly in Wilmington, North Carolina with his parents and four siblings. From an early age, Michael showed great passion for sports, particulary basketball. He faced many setbacks in his childhood, such as being cut from the varsity high school baskeball team, but his determination and work ethic drove him to become one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
